Dear Mr. Powell:
Last week, M. R. Allen, a partner of Parks of Coppell Joint
Venture II, drew up an agreement between Texas Power & Light
Company and his organization. This agreement states that they
retain the right to have a portion of the overhead electric line
serving the Town Center Complex relocated at their expense so as
to conform to a future land plan for the area. Mr. Allen further
agrees to bear any reasonable cost associated with the future
relocation of the line, should this be necessary to facilitate a
future land plan.
This is in conflict with Texas Power & Light Company's
understanding of sharing cost for a relocation. With Mr. Allen's
declaration and T.P.&L.'s acceptance of it, I must inform you
that the City of Coppell will not be requested to participate in
any cost for the future removal of this line.
