SUBJECT: Electrical Services
To The New Town Center
Gentlemen:
In your letter of December 9, 1986, you
indicated that it would be necessary for
you to install a "temporary" line from
the east property line of the Univest tract
due to: (1.) Univest's desire to have all
underground service in their future
development; (2.) Univest not having their
development subdivided at this time.
Since this is the desire of Univest, we
do not feel that the City of Coppell has
any obligation in the cost for the future
removal of this "temporary" service. It
is our desire that permanent service be
provided when the Town Center Complex is
completed and ready for occupancy.
Should you have further questions, please
feel free to contact me at 462-0022.
Sincerely,
Ed Powell, P.E.

Dear Mr. Ginn:
In providing electrical service to the Coppell Town Center, Texas Power & Light
Company is proposing to build an overhead line along Univest's east property line
from Sandy Lake Road North. Then we will build a "temporary" line from Univest's
east property line that will run west to the Coppell Town Center. Due to 1) Univest
plans of having all electric supply lines within the development underground and
2) Univest not having this development subdivided at this time, it is impractical
to provide a permanent total underground system for the Town Center project.
Univest has agreed to be responsible for future costs involved in working the Town
Center into the underground system to serve their Parks of Coppell development.
Since the overhead line from Univest east property line west to the Town Center is
a temporary line, the City of Coppell is responsible for the removal cost of this
line amounting to $2369. This amount can be paid before construction of this line
begins or the City can be billed for the work.
Attached is a print indicating the line that will be removed and the most likely
future underground source for permanent service to the Town Center (the cost of
which Univest will be responsible for).
Please let me know your preference for tk~ collection of the $2369.
Should you have nay questions or need further assistance, feel free to call me
at 888-1382.
