RE: Town Center (Spine Road)
Dear Mr. Anderson:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Provide plat of proposed road.
2. Denote K values for vertical curves.
3. Provide detail of proposed median located at north end of roadway showing top of curb
elevations.
4. Add note in typical pavement section requiring//3 rebar on 24" centers.
5. There is some concern regarding the taper length of curve at north end of roadway.

6. A temporary slope at south end of roadway will need to be established with 3:1 being
maximum allowable slope.
7. Show center line stationing of proposed curb inlets on paving profile sheets.
8. Show right-of-way dimension for roadway.
9. Provide a revised sanitary sewer plan showing the changes discussed in a meeting we had
on Monday August 28, 1995.
10. Show dimension of sanitary sewer easements.

11. Verify that the proposed grades of the 8" sanitary sewer does not exceed the 15 ft/sec
maximum requirement. Contact Howard Pafford, Utilities Superintendent at 304-3545 if

There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review. If you should have
