Transmitted Via Facsimile North T as Municipal Construction Co., Inc. 5614 yer Street Da , 206 Re: Village Parkway Pump Station Addition Repairs to Pump No. 6 / Project Schedule Update Gentlemen: This letter will confirm our telephone conversation of April 21, 1997 regarding the repairs to Pump No. 6 and the schedule for completion of the Village Parkway Pump Station Additions. From our discussions, we understand Pump No. 6 is scheduled to be installed and re-started on Wednesday, April 23rd. Please let us know if that schedule changes so that we can make the necessary adjustments in our schedule. You are hereby requested to have the pump supplier submit a detailed report describing the problems encountered with Pump No. 6, along with an opinion statement as to the cause of the problems; observations made on the condition of the pump at their shop; a full accounting of the repairs and or modifications performed; and the results bench test reports verifying the pump performance. The City expects to conduct a flow and pressure test of Pump No. 6 once you are satisfied it properly re-installed and fully operational in accordance with the manufactures specifications. We also discussed your schedule for completion of the work on this project with the exception of the SCADA System change orders. We now understand it is your intention to have all items of work complete and ready for a final inspection by no later than Friday, May 2, 1997. The contract completion date for all work on the project was April 10th, 1997, as modified by Change Order No. 5. Circumstances surrounding the delays of the startup and testing the disinfection system as included in the original scope of work on the project, are understood and acknowledged by the City of Coppell. You are hereby requested to confirm in writing your commitment to complete your work on this project (less Change Orders 2 and 5) and your expected schedule for a final inspection by the City of Coppell.
