DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Ref. Part A2. This project consists of construction of a new
Coppell 2 Metering Vault located on the site of the City of Coppell Village Parkway Pump
Station Located on Kimbel Court Road at Village Parkway. Details of location and construction
are shown on Map 685W-676C plan-profile sheets 1, 2 and Map 68 1 Q-18A.2 sheets 1 thru 15
and the applicable Appurtenance Sheets.
COMMUNICATIONS/COORDINATION Send all correspondence, construction schedules
and pay applications to Project Manager, Jennifer CoRingham P.E. at address given in Section
01300 Part 1.11. Send Submittals to Henry G. Niblo P.E. at Pipeline Project Management, 2121
Main Street, Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75201 with a transmittal copy to the Project Manager.
Obtain all RFI numbers from the Project Manager. Send RFI's to Design Engineer with a
transmittai copy to the Project Manager. T,

SURVEY All control datum is shown on the plans. The contractor is responsible for locating
and protecting these points.
EVALUATION Ref. A 3. S-7. Form provided to BAR Constructors by Project Manager.
PROJECT PARTNERING Ref. Section 01012. Partnering session to be ~cheduled within

PAYMENT/MONTHLY ESTIMATE Cut off date for monthly estimates is the 10th of each
month.
SUBMITTALS Ref. A3. S-8 and Section 01300. Contractor should prepare a Submittal
Transmittal Form for routing Submittals and Shop Drawings. This form shall meet the needs of
the Contractor, Design Engineer and Owner/City. Stamp shop drawing submittals with a
Contractor Conformante Statement Stamp in NON-RED ink. See Example.

CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULES Submit to the Project Manager in Timeline 6 format.

WORKING HOURS Ref. DWU Addendure to NCTCOG. Working hours shall be between
7:00 am and 6:00 pm. Any and all variances shall first be approved by the Project Manager.

TEMPORARY FACILITIES AND CONTROLS Ref. Section 01500. Project sign, Trailer
and contents, and cellular phone are items which are needed first.
RFI'S Request For Information (RFI) shall be on a form that meets the needs of the Contractor,
Design Engineer, and the Owner/City. An example form is provided by the Project Manager The
Contractor should use this form through-out this contract. Any alterations required by the
Contractor should be coordinated through the Project Manager.
CHANGE ORDER If change orders are required they will be written by the Project Manager
following a completed Request-For-Information (RFI) that justifies the addition or deletion.
TAX EXEMPTION FORM Form provided to BAR Constructors by Project Manager.
LIOUIDATED DAMAGES Ref. NCTCOG General Specifications Item 1.36 and notice to
proceed letter. Liquidated damages are $500.00 per day.
