RE: First Construction Review Comments for South Parking Expansion Criminal Justice Center.
Dear Mr. Koch:
The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments
to offer:
1. Provide a cover sheet and plat on the next set of plans.
2. Provide drainage and grading plans on the next set of plans.
3. Show what concrete and subgrade design for the parking lot you are proposing.
4. Plans must be stamped and signed by a licensed engineer.
5. Provide landscape plans to the Planning Department.
6. Construct a 10' minimum median instead of the 4' shown.
7. Install curb stops for all parking to eliminate the existing problem with irrigation heads
hitting the vehicles overhang in the landscape median.
8. A 24' aisle is required instead of the 23.1' shown.
9. Screening is required for parking spaces fronting Town Center Blvd.
10. Provide a minimum 9' landscape parking island as per Zoning Ordinance.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been
addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the
