MEMO
TO: Gary L. Sieb, Director of Planning & Community Services
FROM: Li~ldewell, Administrative Secretary/Planning
SUBJECT: COPPELL CHURCH OF CHRIST - 11/13/90 CITY COUNCIL ACTION
DATE: November 30, 1990
Gary, per your request I listened to the November 13, 1990, City Council
tape regarding the above referenced item.
After the item was introduced by the Mayor, and before any discussion,
Councilman Morton immediately moved to approve the final plat for the
Coppell Church of Christ. The motion was seconded and approved as
stated. After the item had been approved there was considerable
discussion regarding the fees. The Mayor then asked that the Finance
Committee take a look at assessments of the fees as they relate to
Churches, to develop some consistency. Mayor Wolfe then stated that he
thought he remembered something in the past where the First United
Methodist Church received some rebates for some of the fees they had been
assessed.
Also per your direction, I contacted Steve Goram's office and left the
above information with Sheri Moino.
