City of Dallas
Dear Ken:
Thank you for your prompt attention and response to my request for the funding of the
construction contract for the new rate-of-flow controlled metering station and water
transmission main connection. As you referenced in your July 31, 1997 letter, the
award of the contract will be submitted to Dallas' City Council for approval on
September 10, 1997. Coppell's payment of the low bid amount of $1,050,000 on
August 29, 1997 will be compatible with this schedule.
This advance payment is intended to cover Coppell's total cost of the construction
contract; however, should the cost increase due to unforeseen events, Coppell will be
responsible for the additional cost. You will be notified in advance and will be included
in the review of any changes in the contract affecting the cost.
Ken, I appreciaie your assistance on this important project. As always, please feel free
to call me if I can be of assistance to you.
Sincerely,
Phillip L. Boya
