Subject:Re: Fwd: Question regarding #ST 99-02 - WEST SANDY LAKE RD., Phase B2
Mr. Iyer,
My name is Keith Marvin, and I am the project manager for the West Sandy Lake Road project. George forwarded your
email to me for review.
The trees that were removed along Sandy Lake were in conflict with the proposed street improvements. The utility
relocations are under way, and will continue through the end of the year. We expect to begin road construction during
the first quarter of next year.
If you wish to discuss the status of this project, please feel free to give me a call at 972-304-3681.
Thanks,
Keith

Dear Mr. Marshall:
My question pertains to the Sandy Lake Road expansion between Denton Tap and S. Coppell. If it should be directed to
someone else, kindly guide me.
Trees were removed/relocated several weeks ago (I do not recall the exact dates), presumably in order to facilitate
relocation of the utilities concerned. However, we have seen few signs of the utilities being relocated. Given the
record-breaking heat this year, it would have been nice to have the trees around for longer. Were the trees removed
too soon or was there an unanticipated delay in utility relocation work? When should we expect work on the utilities to
start / resume?
Thanks,
Harish Iyer
