8. Replat of Country Estates Block A, Lots 3R and 4R - located at 472 & 476 Country
Estates Lane.
A hydrologic flood study has been submitted to show that the adjustment
to the floodway will not have an adverse affect on the water surface.
However, the adjustment to the floodway will necessitate the removal of
a 6" cedar elm, twin 4" cedar elm, 3" oak, 4" hackberry and possibly a
twin 6" cedar elm. When permission was originally granted, to leave the
open drainage area through this area, the reasoning behind it was to
protect and save the trees on the lot. My recommendation would be that
the City approve these adjustments to the floodway and that the owner of
lot 4 be require to replaced caliber inch per caliber per inch for each tree
being removed by the adjustment to the floodway.
