I think that was to eliminate aerial crossings making a better environment for Old Coppell.....good for all citizens
compared with paying for burying lines to enhance personal property. Any issue with anything in my proposed
response?

The only issue I see is that we did bury some lines on Bethel Road. Clearly a different situation, but he may bring it up.

Please read that following. I plan to send to him shortly. Have I missed anything or misstated anything? Thanks!
Mr. Keeping,
I will be happy to visit with you regarding the power lines along Sandy Lake provided our City Attorney is available to join
us. That is standard practice once we have been notified that litigation is being contemplated. Unless I misnderstood
your comments last night, it appears you are contemplating just that.
I will say that the City of Coppell has never indicated that we would bury the power lines in question or any others along
Sandy Lake or other thoroughfares in Coppell. Developers do bury power lines as part of the development process but
this is done at their expense, not at the expense of the City.
I apologize for just now getting back to you but we are in the process of relocating some offices in the City Manager's
Office. As such, some of our phones have been unnaccessible. My direct number at my desk is 9723043662. Feel free
to call that number and we can decide how to proceed regarding setting a meeting. My phome will go to my voicemail if
I am not at my desk and I will return your call.
