The concrete which was cored is acceptable to th= city baa;ed
6" pavin~ at 3,000 psi. The problem remainin~ ~i'th the
in the rear fi~lane is the fact that some of tl~e cores
show insufficient depth. Steve ~orton p~oposed that '
have the concrete in question bored to chuck depth, with Morton
and Jackson present at 'the site. Morton would like to ch~ci:
whole fire lane, although he is reasonably certain from his field
visits that it is the cox'~ect depth. If during' tl~ couz'se of
testin~ it se~ms that the bores consistently make 6" or b=tt~r,
they ma~ determin~ that further borings a~ unnecessary.
St~V~ Morton' needs to r~ceive the 1 year maintenanc~ bond
%o his issuanc~ of a Lett~~ of Acceptance, which shoula
~eceiv~d by Dal~ Jackson prior %o issuanc~ of C~rtifiCat~ of
cupancy. Morton also needs utility as-bui!%s.
Woodcreek feels the~ have consistently demonstrated that they
will cooperate with the City and perform all work necessary.
Will set up the borings for Monday, and SCH will write l~tt~r
Dale Jackson, if necessary, indicating the int=nt %o ~'eplac~ any
concz'ete the City considers unacceptable.
Woodcr~k will fill out application for Certificate of Occupancy
as required by Monday. Ail pa~ties concerned would like C~rtifi-
cate of Occupancy to be issued Monday.
