Coppell Rd. to Denton Tap Rd.) Keith, I was wondering if you would be available Thursday or Friday this week or any day next week to meet and discuss Sandy Lake Rd from South Coppell to Denton Tap Rd. We are available at whatever time is most convenient for you. After our last meeting, Teague Nall and Perkins was to reconsider any major modifications to the existing plans. After careful consideration was taken regarding your comments at the meeting including any impacts to franchise utilities that have already moved, how to drain the roadway during construction if the storm drain was placed on the south side, and providing solutions for properties with existing drainage problems, we feel we have a design that minimizes changes to the plans but also presents several important improvements on the previous design. The profile design we would like to show you will: 1.Increase cover over the 24” gas line. 2.Provide positive drainage from the lots east and west of Summer Place 3.Provide positive drainage at 101 Oak Trail. 4.Provide positive drainage from adjacent properties between Shadydale Lane to Denton Tap Rd. We would also like to present a revised storm drain line design that will maintain the same proposed alignment as previous submittals with the exception of the area from Shadydale Lane to the 10’x8’ box. We will move the alignment slightly to the north to increase the distance from the existing/proposed sewer. This will improve constructability of the proposed box culvert. The storm drain will remain an 8’x3’ box and will not require any conflict manholes. Teague Nall and Perkins is determined to provide the City of Coppell with the best design possible and finishing these plans as quickly as possible. Mike and I understand your apprehension and your point of view in making any changes this far along in the project especially after utilities have started to be relocated. Moving forward we are committed to minimizing any change but feel strongly that the changes we present to you at this meeting will have an improvement. Please let us know when you are available and I will send out a meeting request.
