I)evelopment Fee Assessment
Dear Mr. Griffin:
I have reviewed the Development Fee Assessment list from your office dated August 23,
1993, and would like to submit the following comments:
The developer of record of this project is Creekview Estates Limited Partnership,
William G. Thompson, Trustee and General Panner, 8333 Douglas Avenue, Suite
1510. Dallas, Texas 75225-5811. I am however the owner of lot 2, block B of
the development. Our purchase agreement stipulates that Mr. Thompson would
undertake to platte the site and provide utilities to my property. Mr. Thompson
has indicated to that he should not be required to provide water service or meters
to the remaining lots until such time as those lots are sold or developed.
In a telephone conversation with Steve Goram on August 23, it was my
understanding that those fees due to the impact of my project would be the only
fees due and payable at this time. I have therefore taken the liberty of
recalculating to the best of my ability the prorated fees from your list and have
attached a copy to this letter. I would request that Mr. Thompson be billed for
the remaining fees, payable when he sells or develops the remaining lots, in order
that my project be allowed to proceed.
By copy of this letter, I am requesting that Mr. Thompson forward a copy of the
utility contract to your office for calculation of the 2% construction inspection fee
which I understand is payable at this time.
I am looking forward to beginning this project with great anticipation, and would
therefore like all panics to proceed without further delay. Please let me know if my
reasoning is correct in this matter. Thank you for your help and assistance.
