Dear Mike:
After contacting you and not indentifying an issue, nor information need,
that could be addressed by Engineering, I spoke with Public Works about
your request on the attached July 5, 1989 letter.
The City of Coppell may in the future be conducting a study of it's
sanitary sewer system that may better provide the existing system's
capacities, specific sub-service areas and any future needed trunklines
etc.
However, until then, requests or assurances from the Public Works
Department as a member of the City of Coppell's DRC should be complied
with to their fullest satisfaction.
As the design engineer, you would have similar responsibilities designing
a sanitary sewer system and outfalling into existing sewer lines similar
to water line and drainage designs. This is as other engineers have
practiced providing infrastructure improvements to the City of Coppell.
Other than providing information from a system wide study once conducted,
it is doubtful that this office could add any information that would help
in your design of the sewer system. These are all questions that you
could answer by data and information collection of the existing system,
the future land use, and whatever other information and/or requirements the
Public Works department may provide as the operations and maintenance
agency of the City of Coppell.
