Dear Mr. Fikes:
Attached please find a copy of the drawing showing the option in which the pole is relocated 10' back as
you have requested. Please note that, as I explained to you over the phone, the trailer portion of the
truck may have a better angle in reference to the location of the driveway; however, the turning move-
rnent is still controlled by the proposed island protecting the power pole located adjacent to the public
right-of-way.
Our recommendation on the 35' width of the driveway and the 75' median opening remains the same,
since we believe it is in your best interest and the City of Coppell to provide these measurements as
shown on the sketch, in order to minimize the replacement of the curbs in this area. It is our
understanding that any adjustments to this pole will require a new pole to be placed within the island
separating the two driveways, in order to provide the required 50' span between poles.
