This new rate-of-flow facility needs to be designed to meet a 20 million gallon per day capacity. It is our desire to have this facility located on the back half of the eastern side of the property at 1351 E. Sandy Lake Road, as per site plan attachment, where the existing facility is now located. We have included with this letter, the items you and the engineering department had previously requested during the 11/2/93 meeting at Dallas City Hall. We are stare that there will need to be additional information provided and please do not hesitate-to cal[ us. Once the engineers begin we would like 'for them to work directly with our City Engineer, Ken Griffin; however, there will be a need for all of us to stay in the loop to ensure long term operational issues are addressed. As indicated, the City of Coppell desires to have this facility on-line by June 1, 1995. We are hoping to confirm with Ron McCuller, Assistant Director of Public Works/Water Utilities, City of Irying, the construction schedule of the new 60" water line, which Coppell has been actively involved in, as well as the possibility of securing future capacity on a permanent or temporary basis from the existing 54" line. C November 15, 1993 Dave Ryburn Page 2 Staff has prepared an agenda item dealing with this matter which we plan to take before our City Council on December 14, where Council will be requested to formally take action in support of this important project.
