FEMA Map Amendment
Dear Mr. Pasquel :
The City of Coppeli has received a Technical Report on existing
and proposed flood plain and floodway conditions along the south
bank of Denton Creek in Coppell . This report, prepared by
Threadgill , Dowdey and Associates Engineers, includes a detailed
hydraulic analysis of the existing channel and overbank conditions
as well as proposed improvements.
The work in the Parks of Coppell development has been reviewed
and approved by the City of Coppell and meets the City subdivision
and development ordinances; therefore, the City is requesting a
letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) for the Flood Insurance Rate Map
(FIRM) and Flood Boundary Floodway Maps (FBFM) published by the
Federal Emergency Management Agency along Denton Creek, adjacent
to the parks of Coppell.
