Please be advised that on May 9 and July 11, 2000, the Coppell City Council
approved the attached Ordinances No. 2000-910 and 2000-916 changing the name
of a portion of Hawken Drive, from its northern intersection with Coppell Road,
west to a point of its intersection south, being adjacent to Lots 10A through 16B,
Block 1, and Lots 7A through 12B, Block 2, as depicted on Exhibit "A" to Archer
Drive.

the City to reflect a change in said street name and to erect the appropriate signage in accordance
with the ordinances and regulations of the City of CoppeH, Texas.
SECTION 2. That all provisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of CoppeR, Texas, in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and all other
provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in fi. ill force and effect.
SECTION 3. That should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or
section of this ordimnce, or of the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, be adjudsed or held to be
void or uncor~a~tional, the same shall not air-oct the validity of the remaining portions of said
ordinance or the Code of Or~ as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately ~om and atter its passage the
publication of its caption, as the law and Charter in such cases provide.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
CORRECTNG ORDINANCE NO. 2000-910, PERTAINING TO THE
RENAMING HAWKEN DRIVE, BY CHANGING 2klJJ REFERENCES TO
LOT 16A TO LOT 16B; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CI~USE;
PROVIDING A REPEALING CI~USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2000-910, changing the name of a portion of Hawken Drive
was passed by the City of Coppell on the 9t day of May, 2000; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2000-910 contains an error in the numbering of the. lots
adjacent to said portion; and,
WHEREAS, in order to maintain accurate records of the City and reflect the appropriate
portion of the street wherein the name has been changed, it is necessary to correct aH references
to Lot 16A to Lot 16B.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. That the Ordinance No. 2000-910, adopted on the 9~ day of May, 2000
shaH be amended to change aH references to Lot 16A to Lot 16B.
SECTION 2. That except as provided herein, Ordinance No. 2000-910 shaH remain in
full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That aH provisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Coppell, Texas, in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance be, and the same are hereby, repealed, and aH other
provisions not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. That should any word, sentence, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase or
section of this ordinance, or of the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, be adjudged or held to be
void or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of said
ordinance or the Code of Ordinances, as amended hereby, which shall remain in full force and effect.
