Subject:RE: ISSUES
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PROMPT REPLY
1. I had a surveyor out and he collaborated with my suggestion, (AND CIVIL ENGINEER THAT HAS BEEN ON THE
PROPERTY INDEPENDENT OF THE CITY) that the oak trail road indeed inclines towards my property and crests,
making drain beyond the documented curb a certainty..
2. simply bringing the curb the length of the frontage of Oak Trail is the easiest fix, to run towards Sandy Lake
Road
3. the drainage ditch on 101 and issues with 109....with no real drainage plan, makes sense for all parties..no
standing water...
4. fyi: the mail box was dragged up to the house by my son @ 5PM and was not mounted as requested...mail
delivery was not made, and i called the post office, to NOT RETURN MAIL
5. WALTER said he would grade further into oak trail drive for a not so extreme drop...and would match the
new height of oak trail, with curb and indent in cement to allow for drainage onto sandy lake...really need
some supervision here, folks...
6. since you are doing the curb on oak trail and if you need an opinion by a civil engineer for drainage, slant of
sandy lake, and hump in the oak trail road, i can have this to you pronto...let me know, i will pass the bill onto
the city...because we are right, keith...
7. a curb guiding the run off would settle most of this issue, WHY NOT ALLOW THIS?????
REMEMBER, 101 IS THE LOWEST POINT BETWEEN DENTON TAP AND COPPELL SCHOOL ROAD,
LOOK AT SHADYDALE....IT IS FLAT AND BOTH SIDES OF THE STREET GET THE RUN OFF, NOT ONE SIDE...
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FURTHER CONSIDERATION....
AGAIN.....WHAT IS MAKING A CURB EXTENSION, THAT MUCH OF A COST TO THE CITY? THEN IT MATTERS NOT
THE SLANT OF OAK TRAIL...UNLESS THE WATER JUMPS THE CURB
AND NO, NO ONE FROM THE CITY FOR MODIFICATION OF CURRENT ISSUES HAS SHOWN UP...THE CURB
SHOULD SOLVE WATER PENETRATION ISSUE...REALLY, WOULD BE HAPPY TO GET CIVIL ENGINEER AND
SURVEYOR OUT ....NOW IS THE TIME...BUT SOMEONE NEEDS TO SUPERVISE AND CARE ABOUT THIS CORNER...
VERIZON BOX...THEY DID CONFER WITH CONSTRUCTION...AND THIS IS A LOOP WITH THE BOX ON THE
CORNER....SO BOTH BOXES ARE NEEDED. THEY HAVE LAID 8 CABLES ACROSS 101...AND THIS IS GETTING
SICK... NOW THE NEW CABLE RUNS ON BOUNDARY OF 109 OAK TRAIL AND IN FRONT OF THE 101 FRONT
DOOR STEP...BUT THE NEW CUTTING OF CABLE, CAUSES NEW RUNS...
REALLY, DOES ANYONE CARE HERE???
KEITH, PLEASE ADVISE IF YOU UNDERSTAND...

Ms. Lawson,
The intersection of Oak Trail and Sandy Lake will be constructed in the fashion we discussed.
The Verizon box that continues to be hit needs to be moved by Verizon. They are aware of this, and have
promised to expedite this work.
As I stated during our meeting, this project is addressing the bulk of your drainage issues from Sandy
Lake. The volume of water coming off Oak Trail is very small compared to the amount in Sandy Lake. We are
not able to make all the water from Oak Trail flow to Sandy Lake due to the natural flow being to the north.
I understand Walter has had your mailbox restored to a standing condition. Sorry for the lack of mail
today. Please let Rick or I know if this continues to be a problem.
Thank you for your continued patience during this challenging project. I know this is a significant disruption to
you.

Keith,
Walter nor Rick are supervising our discussion regarding 101 Oak Trail property.
Today, they cut into the drive and the front of the property...but not in the discussion we
had to modify the plant...
They left my mailbox on the ground, and broke the verizon box for the 8th time, ran over it...
with heavy equipment.

Oak Trail is the only street which at the entrance - and to the beginning of 109 Oak Trail, has
the road
drainage into not a culvert, but property - 101 Oak Trail, not even an even street where maybe
partial will run out to 100 Oak Trail.
You have looked at the plan. I offered to bring a surveyor to show the elevations. I would like
you to consider curbing the entire front of 101, so that the run off will indeed, prior to small
elevation, come to the curb and follow drainage to sandy lake.
PLEASE CONSIDER, PLEASE ASK WALTER TO SUPERVISE AS HE SAID HE WOULD.
As to mail delivery? no one cares...
