Subject:Request Easement under Public Information Act
To Whom It May Concern,
Please forward under a request of the Public Information Act a copy of the
Easement Agreement referencing the "frontage" easement of 101 Oak Trail
to the corner of Sandy Lake Road,
which would date;
a. the year the property of 101 Oak Trail was built or
b. Shady Dale Acres was plat..
c. I believe in the late 50's or early 60's/.
I need this information expedited asap,
as the city has allowed a "taking" of a private cement driveway, promising verbally to restore,
all the while, inclusion of the driveway was to be a part of Oak Trail, city owned....
and property for widening 101 Oak Trail, without written consent of the owner.
In the past, Owner owned property along Sandy Lake Road, which was "easement" .
The City of Coppell did negotiate the least amount of compensation for the 101 Oak Trail Easement land,
paying other property owners more for easement along Sandy Lake Road widening and drainage project.
Now, the owner of property 101 Oak Trail, never authorized the "taking" of easement of utilities, for the
expansion of 101 Oak trail and was told, that the taking of 20-30 feet of cement drive, double car, was
removed and driveway used for expansion....let alone the taking of land for cut out.
City engineer has said the City has the right to "take" the property, since it was easement. If this is so, then
why did the City of Coppell "pay for easement land" for expansion of Sandy Lake Road?
I request this "easement right of taking land" as referred on 101 Oak Trail easement as well as information
regarding "confiscating and destroying capital improvements of owner" (drive).
