Village Parkway Pump Station Additions
Dear Mr. Daigre:
You are hereby directed to begin work on repairing the defective 12-inch ductile iron pipe spool located on the
discharge piping of Proposed Pump No. 5. The work shall include removing and replacing a portion of the
concrete foundation along with the defective pipe. The foundation shall be cut with a full depth saw cut and the
repair shall be as shown on the attached detail. All excavation, trench safety and backfill and shall be in
conformante with O.S.H.A. regulations and the requirements in the contract specifications. Precautions shall be
made for all new and existing electrical conduits. Any potential electrical shut down at the pump station shall be
coordinated with Mr. Matt Cast.
It is our opinion that this repair work is a result of either defective materials or workmanship; therefore, the City
of Coppell assumes no responsibility for labor, materials or other costs associated with the repairs.
