ST9902-CS130220 (3) Halie Hernandez From:Andrew Luce <ALuce@TNPINC.com> Sent:Wednesday, February 20, 2013 9:12 AM To:Keith Marvin Cc:Chris Schmitt; Casey McBroom Subject:Sandy Lake Rd. - Whispering Hills Ramp Configuration Attachments:Whispering Hills Ramp Configuration.pdf Keith, Please find attached the proposed ramp configuration at Whispering Hills. With this configuration, the ramps on the north side are able to stay within the ROW. We are also able to combine the ramps on the east side into single type 5 ramps, rather than having two single ramps per your comments in the previous submittal. Due to the limited parkway space, the signal pole on the northeast corner of the intersection will encroach into the ramp 1’-1.5’. With the larger width of the ramp landing, this should not cause a clear path issue. We can’t move the ramps on the north side of the intersection closer to the curb because we will be unable to tie-in the sidewalk on N. Whispering Hills into the sidewalk along Sandy Lake at the northwest corner of the intersection and still stay in the 10’ sidewalk easement along N. Whispering Hills. If you would like to discuss ramp/signal pole orientation options please give me a call or we can meet to talk further. Thanks, Andrew Andrew Luce, P.E.
