RE: First Construction Review Comments for E-Rap Wall at 152 Shiloh Court Block B, Lot 64 Creek'view Addition Dear Mr. Sanders: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: 1. The site plan indicates two bendway weirs to be constructed in the floodplain. The bendway weirs are obstructions in the floodplain which will raise the base flood elevation of the creek. Provide a detail of the weir with the next set of plans. 2. Add a note on Area "A" drawing regarding 95% compaction of backfill. 3. Inspection fees are required to be paid for the project before the plans can be approved. Please provide a copy of the contract to verify the 2 % cost. 4. On sheet 2, provide gravel around the 4" perforated PVC, keep the slope at a maximum 3:1, and change note 9 to indicate 95 % compaction of backfill material. 5. A floodplain permit is required to be completed and signed by the floodplain administrator. There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the marked up plans along with two revised sets of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
