Ms. Martinez,
The area in question was within the work zone.
The work zones began:
for west bound E. Belt Line Road traffic at 346 E. Belt Line Road
for east bound Southwestern Blvd traffic at the intersection of S. Coppell Road & Southwestern Blvd.
for south bound Denton Tap Road traffic approximately 200' south of the intersection of Bethel Road & Denton
Tap Road
for north bound S. Belt Line Road traffic approximately 320' south of the intersection of Wrangler Drive & S.
Belt Line Road
At any point in time the contractor was responsible for maintaining all of the barricades, channelizing devices
and signs and could be anywhere within the designated work zone. These activities are considered part of the

construction contract and part of the construction activities so the answer to your question would be yes there
was construction work being performed in the area.

But the question I had was their any actual construction on E. Beltine Road in front of Sanders Loop? I am not asking you anything
about work zone of traffic law. Just asking you to respond to a question on where construction took place.
I will be meeting with City Attorney to discuss this issue since I already called. I just want to offer verifiable facts.

Thank you for your response-
I received a traffic citation near Sanders Loop in front of the Chicken Express/Church of Riverside. The citation indicates that there
were construction workers present in this area ( E. Beltine & Sanders Loop).
Can you confirm if there was any construction on the E. Beltine Road itself ( not on the intersection, since this was blocked off). I
was travelling on E. Beltline heading towards Sanders Loop and did not see any construction workers in this area at any point.

Ms. Martinez,
The Belt Line Road / Denton Tap Road / Southwestern Blvd intersection was under construction from June 6th
to June 21st (approx). Though there was traffic signal work near Sanders Loop & S. Belt Line Road before &
after those dates.

Is there a way I can find out approximately what dates construction/street repair occurred at a specific intersection? Is this part of
public records?
I am looking for information on street construction that occurred on E Beltline and Denton Tap (by the Dairy Queen)
if you are not the right dept to respond to this question, can point to the appropriate person/dept?
