Will do! The construction project is going along quite well however there are quite a few motorists that are not following
the detours. The temporary signal is working out well. There is video detection in place and working. The contractor is
almost finished removing the concrete in the middle of the intersection. The global website is
http://vserver.coppelltx.gov/ to access the city's list of cameras but I'm sure you already had that. It probably won't work
on your IPad due to adobe flash.
Of course yesterday evening traffic was backed up to Dividend but that was to be expected the first day. Hopefully
motorists will remember that they should take a different route home today. Also, Brent modified the timing at the
Airline/Sanders/Belt Line intersection this morning to allow 70 sec north and south instead of I think he said 40
sec. Though the signal is not in sync with the rest of Belt Line it seems to work well. There are always people that don't
quite stop at the new southbound location. Signs are in place that state "Stop here on Red" and there are 3 rows of
buttons to delineate the stop bar. Traffic has done an excellent job with this temporary signal coordination with the
contractor.
Thank You, George

Don't contact Kent. Just make sure all signage is up and correct. How is the project going? I can't get the camera to come
up on my computer.

Rick has already communicated to the contractor that they need to place a type III, as shown on the plans, just east of
the intersection of Southwestern & Coppell Road. There are sufficient detour & Road Closed No Thru Traffic signs in
place for motorists to know they are heading the wrong direction they are just choosing not to follow them. As it is, I
think the signage and construction so far has been much better than last year. I have passed this email (printout) along
to Rick.
Would you like for me to contact Mr. Moore?
Thank You, George
