I am not sure if this is your domain or not, but it seems like a fairly easy fix to me. Can you help? Any news yet on the traffic study for Fallkirk & Denton Tap? Thanks, Phil LaBerge ---------------------------- Hi Tommy, I have been on the Board for ten years now and this is the first time I have heard of the problem. I am also surprised Jennings never brought it up. I also don't know who Pear Beardsall is. It actually seems like a fairly easy problem to solve. The city could simple install a grate inlet near your driveway and tie it into the manhole in the street. I will contact the right people in Engineering, see if I can get a response, and get back to you. 1 Phil LaBerge ________________________________ From: tjosey@verizon.net To: coppellgreens@hotmail.com Subject: West Nile and standing water Date: Mon, 6 Oct 2014 11:04:41 -0500 Hello Board Members, My name is Tommy Josey (732 Kilbridge). We have been trying for close to 14 years to get an issue with drainage/standing water resolved. Over the years we have sent many letters to the city and Pear Beardsall. The city has come out and tried to chip the concrete to make a drain channel. They sent a 3rd party company called Uretek out to lift the concrete. None of these things have worked and today as with virtually every day that there is rain or sprinkler use we have water standing in the cul de sac for a very long time while the rest of the street is dry. I have included photos from today and also from over 10 years ago showing the bran new neighborhood and the same water still pooling. We are requesting your help to have this issue addressed. The weather looks like it will be perfect for the event and we are going to have lots of good food and fun: * Food from Rosa's * Kona Ice ($3 each) * Balloons * Face Painting * Zorb Balls * Train Rides As a word of caution, the City of Coppell recently found mosquitos which tested positive for West Nile Virus in our neighborhood. They have since sprayed our neighborhood. We suggest that you spray yourself with insect repellent with DEET to prevent getting bitten. Please bring cash for the Kona Ice if you would like one. Everything else is free. See you there! Your Coppell Greens HOA Board www.coppellgreens.com<http://www.coppellgreens.com> 3
