Bill
The optimal solution would be to not let trucks leave the site until 8:30 or 9 am and then continue using South
Beltline. The trucks could still haul to the site from 6 am but the exiting trucks would just queue onsite until 8:30 or 9
am. While using Airline Drive to Freeport Parkway seems to be a good solution for traffic on South Beltline, it creates a
new set of problems. One, Airline Drive is already experiencing some pavement failure and the addition of trucks will
hasten the deterioration. Two, the trucks will try to mix with traffic that uses Freeport Parkway to gain access to and
from Coppell Middle School East on Wrangler Drive. We already have a morning problem with vehicles trying to find
breaks in the Freeport Parkway traffic to exit from Airline Drive and Wrangler Drive. Also, with development taking
place in the area, the problem will only worsen.
We can meet to discuss this further, but again, the optimal solution would be to not exit the site in the morning until
after 8:30 or 9 am.

I haven’t received any feedback, but we just wanted to check to see if this strategy has been effective or not. Any
comments or suggestions?

Mike,
In our continuing attempt to lessen traffic congestion along Beltline especially in the mornings, please direct your trucks
to continue to enter the fill site from LBJ along Beltline and then exit “empty & clean” to the west on Airline to Freeport
Parkway between the hours of 6am – 9:30am. This should substantially lessen the morning impact in a positive
manner. Thanks as always for your cooperation.
The overall hours of operation will remain the same from 6am to 9:30pm.

"Bill, Laying in bed at midnight listening to earth moving equipment and dirt haulers. I can hear it plain in my house and
much worse outside. I have not checked to see if we are getting calls but I cannot imagine how we would not be. Let's
talk tomorrow. Clay"
