ST0301C-CS140609George/Keith, I have a chance to look through the remaining comments. Most of them we talked about and are pretty straight forward, but wanted to discuss the following comments I needed clarification on: 1. Benson Lane, comment states inlet needed on east side of Bethel/Benson intersection. a. We are sloping Benson to the west to match Bethel Rd profile. We are not showing an inlet on the east side at this location. 2. LED – Is the City wanting LED lighting? There are three options we can provide: a. Redesign based on an LED fixture, requires an amendment and will not be able to meet July deadline. b. Replace LED fixture 1 for 1. No lighting calculations done and existing spacing may have dark or hot spots. c. Leave as is. 3. Future storm circled east of Senior Center driveway. Is there someone we need to coordinate our improvements with? 4. Striping around flush median. We discussed this at the meeting, but not sure we decided anything. Is additional striping required with the flush median? 5. Culvert at Coppell Rd – We’ve limited the grading as much as possible, but the gabion is currently extending beyond the drainage easement. The east side easement is much narrower than the west side. We’ll determine if there is an alternative to gabion that can keep the structure within the drainage easement, but may require a retaining wall. 6. There is an indication of a water meter on the south side of Bethel just east of S. Coppell Rd. It appears to be an existing water meter shown on the attached pdf and picture. It appears the house is getting service from Coppell Rd. There are two options: a. If coming from Coppell Road i. Relocate service to the Bethel Road waterline and set a new meter along the ROW and then install a new service line on private property up to the downstream of the existing meter. ii. Maintain the service as it is currently installed. b. If coming from Bethel Road i. Install a new meter along the ROW and then install a new service line up to the downstream of the existing meter. ii. Install a new service line up to the property line and connect to the existing service line at this point. Please review and let me know if you have any follow up questions. B.
