Subject: FW: Traffic Light at 121 and Denton Tap
Hello Mr. Marshall,
Has there been any movement with the City of Lewisville regarding the
traffic light at Denton Tap and Fallkirk Drive? The issue is continuing
to get worse for us.
Please let me know if there is anything we can do on our end to get
something to happen.
Thanks,
Phil LaBerge

Subject: Traffic Light at 121 and Denton Tap

To whom it may concern:
My name is Ed Enriquez and I live in Coppell Greens. My children attend
Denton Creek Elementary and I take them to school every morning. It
seems that just prior to Thanksgiving the traffic on Denton Tap between
the hours of 7:15am and 8:00am has become excessive. So much so, that it
takes me, as well as other residents, between 3 to 5 minutes just to
pull out of the community…that’s if the other drivers are kind enough to
let us pull into the flow of traffic. This morning, there were 3 cars in
front of me pulling out of the community and it was an absolute mission
to get onto Denton Tap. The traffic was so bad that the line of cars
went almost as far North as E Vista Ridge Mall Dr!
My observations are the light at 121 and Denton Tap is now very short
(never used to be that short), thus causing the massive backup. This
will become a safety issue if not addressed as residents from Coppell
Greens and Ballantyne Apartments are both trying to converge onto Denton
Tap…and we know there have been issues at that intersection under normal
driving conditions.
Kindly awaiting your response…
