Folks: I have been a resident of Coppell for more than 20 yrs and my family really likes it here. So my interest is for the best of our city. I do have a concern with the stamped pavement at Sandy Lake and Denton Tap, Beltline and Denton Tap and now Beltline and MacArthur. I can only guess that Sandy Lake and MacArthur is next. This material used for the “Star Design” and crosswalks get extremely slippery when wet. Much more so than normal road pavement. I believe this makes our increasingly busy intersections much more dangerous, not safer. What is the purpose served with this design at the expense of our citizens and visitors safety? Look forward to your explanation. Maybe I’m missing something here. Denny Morrow 972-393-2116
