MA 10-07-CS140710George, could you ensure that we do adjust the timing at the Fairway/Belt Line traffic signal? Also could you touch base with PD on any plans for enforcement? What I did not see was any reference to traffic enforcement on Riverchase between Sandy Lake and Fairway. I live in Riverchase and know that people cut through to get to Belt Line from Sandy Lake and vice versa - and they also like to drive well above the speed limit. If the City could do something to discourage this movement by having additional enforcement (morning and evening), it would help Riverchase homeowners. During the closure, I expect the Fairway/Riverchase and Fairway/Belt Line intersections to be congested, especially in the mornings. As there should be almost no traffic east bound on Belt Line, I hope the City plans on adjusting the timing of the signal at the Fairway and Belt Line intersection. The eastbound signal indication needs to be shortened and the southbound Fairway to eastbound Belt Line left turn signal indication needs to be lengthened.
