NL Cypress-CS120306 (2)George- The Structural Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, and myself got together this morning and we are comfortable with our final decision on the light pole foundations. I will get the plans and details revised. We are going with a 4’x8’x6’(deep) rectangular block foundation similar to what we had before. I decided to make the foundation only 4’ wide in lieu of 6’ wide to get it further away from the City mains. We made up for the lost block square footage by making it 8’ long in lieu of 6’ long. The same concept applies to sleeving for the franchise utilities but we decided to make a larger sleeve for them. Therefore the franchise utilities should not need to re-approve the plan since the concept stayed the same. Please let me know what exactly you need from me in order to get the Contractor moving forward in the field. Thanks!
