Sandy Lake Road plant substitutionsKeith,
After our telephone conversation, I wanted to respect your project
authority and procedures by sending this directly to you, and copy John
Elias, Lloyd Mauch, and Chris Schmitt. Please forward this substitution
through your established channels.
Below (and also attached) is the list of Home Run Rose substitutions
worked out between John, Lloyd, and myself. Please know we have delayed
Superscapes from planting the Home Run Roses knowing this substitution
was eminent and necessary (for horticultural reasons that have recently
become a local landscape maintenance industry concern). Superscapes is
aware of the pending substitution and is expecting this list in order to
finish their planting tasks. They will not need to remove any
landscaping that is in place as a result of this substitution.
Because we have relieved the contractor of original specification sizes
of the roses, the plant substitution and increased quantity should
result in a zero cost change to the general contract. The expectation of
the change is to have a zero cost impact and should a cost increase
occur, we reserve the right to discuss further with the contractor to
achieve the zero dollar increase goal prior to their installation of the
plant substitutions.
Our contacts at Superscape is Matt Shelton (matt@superscapes.net
<mailto:matt@superscapes.net> ) and James Doyle (james@superscape.net
<mailto:james@superscape.net> )
Please contact me with any questions.
Thank you.
