RE: LED Lighting Pilot TestGeorge,
I went by there last night and did notice the differences in the
lighting. I tried to take some pictures but I do not think that Apple
has figured out how to get the iphone to capture high quality nighttime
photos.
I’ll bring my less than stellar photos to with me to the meeting today
for show and tell.

Hi everyone,
If you are interested in LED street lighting and want to see some
examples in operation, we are currently conducting some testing on
Eldorado Parkway between Coit and Independence. This section has 250W
LED equivalents from Trastar, Cooper, Phillips, and Cree as well as the
standard 250W metal halide that we use. If you want more details, I can
send you a map of the exact fixture locations. Each company has three
consecutive poles with a total of six fixtures. Just let me know if you
want a map or would like to meet in the field to look them over. We
should have the fixtures for another two to three weeks.
