Mr. Collins:
As previously discussed, Doyle Engineering, the civil engineer for the above project, proposed a deeper boring for
the sanitary sewer line on the north end of the property. This design had the bore under the existing box culvert as
apposed to going over the box culvert as shown on the City approved civil drawings. While performing a test hole
south of the Dickey's project, it was discovered that unstable material existed at the elevation of the proposed
deeper boring.
It was our opinion and the opinion of the boring subcontractor that performing a bore at that elevation with those
soil conditions was not practical.
