Dickey's PLA-CS010112January 12, 2001 David Adams C/O Doyle Engineering Group 5580 LBJ Freeway, Suite 260 Dallas, TX 75240 RE: Dickey's Barbecue Restaurant Parking Addition Dear Mr. Adams: The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: Provide sawcut and removal of existing concrete note on the "Paving Plan" sheet instead of on the "Existing Topographic Survey" sheet. Also provide a note stating "proposed paving to be doweled into existing concrete paving as per City details". If the property owner chooses to request a variance to the Subdivision Ordinance requiring 6" of lime stabilized subgrade underneath the proposed paving then a letter needs to be submitted with a request for a proposed alternative. Any electrical installation proposed with these plans must be permitted through the Building Inspections Division. How are the curbs going to be transitioned in the alley right-of-way. Some type of erosion control (i.e. rock rip rap) should be provided at the outfall of the proposed curb opening for the parking lot drainage. Also a swale should be graded to ensure the drainage is conveyed in the proper direction. There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. When all comments have been addressed, please return these marked plans and two sets of revised plans to the City for review. If you have any questions, please contact me at (972) 304-7019. Sincerely, Michael A. Martin, P.E. Asst. City Engineer 255 PARKWAY ~' P.O BOX 478 'Jr COPPELL TX 75019 '~ TEL 972/462 00~-2 'k FAX 972/304 3673
