I wanted to make sure these plans reflect what you had in mind prior to the coordination effort with Oncor. Robert had initially set up the design similar to recent Coppell projects: 1.The seven (7) proposed Service Locations highlighted in red are at signalized intersections. 2.All new conduit proposed. 3.All new pole foundations proposed. If you want to re-use the existing conduit, we will need to get more information on what is out there because that was not picked up on the survey. We can possibly estimate based on the current pole locations, but it would be good to have all the actual layout/details of the existing Denton Tap illumination. Please note that the new poles do not necessarily fall in the same locations as the existing poles. Let me know if you want the plans revised to use the existing Service location(s) and conduit. I will coordinate with Oncor to advance these plans accordingly once I get confirmation on these details. Much appreciated, Suki Suki Hay, P.E. Oncor has strings of lights and when we take over the “strings” along Denton Tap we would like to make sure we design it right so we take over a full string and not need to field engineer this. I spoke with Rick yesterday and he indicated that no one has talked with him yet. As we take over the street lights from Oncor, we will need to contract with them to remove their facilities and then we will come in with another contractor to demo the bases and install new and tie into the existing conduit. There may be some issues with having our facilities in the same easement area as AT&T, but I’m not sure. Has anyone contacted AT&T to discuss the alignment?
