Hammond Subdivision-CS150629 (2)DALLAS | FORT WORTH | AUSTIN | SAN ANTONIO | HOUSTON GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTING June 19, 2015 Mr. Jason Rose Haas Rose at Lost Creek, LLC 141 Dickens Drive Coppell, Texas 75019 Re: Addendum to Geotechnical Engineering Report Proposed Hammond Street Townhomes Coppell, Texas Rone Project No. 14-19365 Dear Mr. Rose: Rone Engineering Services, Ltd. (Rone) has been requested to provide additional recommendations regarding the subgrade preparation for the 10-foot wide and 700-foot long Alley pavement for the referenced project. This request was made by the client in a telephone conversation with Mark Gray. This letter presents our recommendations and should be considered an addendum to Rone’s Geotechnical Engineering Report 14-19365 dated September 5, 2014. This letter should not be considered separately from the geotechnical report. In our original report, we recommended that pavement subgrade be treated to a depth of 6 inches with lime. Provided the pavement and surrounding areas are well drained, six inches of flex base can be used and lime treatment omitted. Any other comments and recommendations contained in the original geotechnical report remain unchanged. Thank you for the opportunity to provide services to you for this project. Please call if you have any questions regarding this letter. Respectfully submitted, A. Reza Savabi, P.E. Xuhui Chang, P.E.
