DetourGentlemen,
I received a call this evening from the Deputy Fire Chief concerning the quality of the current detour in use on Southwestern Blvd. The Fire Department is concerned about potential
damage to their apparatus, and the possibility of a delayed response to a critical incident as a result of the condition of this detour.
As most of you know the city went to considerable additional expense to ensure that this road would remain open for the duration of construction. The sole reason for that was the fire
station.
We need to improve the condition of this detour as soon as possible, and maintain it in an acceptable condition for the duration of its use.
I am happy to coordinate a meeting with the Fire Department to discuss their specific concerns if needed.
Feel free to contact me to discuss this matter.
Keith

Subject: RE: HDPE alternative
This solution of utilizing HDPE pipe with a concrete collar at the
transition is acceptable to PacTrust. However, we would obviously defer
to the City for approval of the temporary alternate native for piping
over the existing AT&T duct bank.

Subject: HDPE alternative
Hi guys
I attach a temporary alternative using HDPE pipe at AT&T crossing
location. Also, as the flow line at the existing Box Junction Box is a
little higher than shown on the plans, I had to raise the flow line of
Lat B-5 wye inlet as shown. The sketch shows the adjusted flow lines
from Sta. 0+00.0 to Lat B-5. If this alternative is acceptable, please
disregard the previous ones I sent. Please call Dave Littleton at
214-346-6213 or me if any question
thanks
