I'm having a hard time justifying the expense. I think we should do something from the top of the headwall to the edge of the slope of the yard. I do not think we should bring it into
the yard, and especially not all the way to the asphalt. The driveway itself is covered under pay item # 129. My estimate is it would take about 9 tons to cover this area.
The proposed cost of $100/ton seems high to me.
If we can cover the area described above for $500 then I would authorize you to proceed.
