Re Coppell RoadMarty,
I'm going to have to go to City Council for approval of the change order for the channel since it will exceed $25,000. ($24,951.50 + $12,827.10) My next opportunity for Council action
is April 27th.
That having been said, there is no reason to not put the sod down since we have a contract price for that. Your proposed price for the sod plus hydromulch behind the sidewalk is within
$700 of the contract price for sod. Like I said on the phone the other day, if you want to get both of these items done, and are willing to accept the contract amount of $10,879.00
than we can move forward with both of those. We would then only be adding the "offsite" work to the change order.
I'll work up the change order and plan to take it to City Council on 4/27.
