Re FW Coppell Road South (2)I'll forward it to our traffic department to see what they want to do about the markings they supplied.
We can over-run the quantity on item #130.

Can you respond as to how you want us to handle this?

Marty, please advise.
Item #131 raised pavement markers CL C TY I-A Ceramic - quantity was 145
each. We special ordered 150.
Most cities and TXDOT use the square acrylic reflective markers.
The City of Coppell did not want to use the reflective button that Item
#131 called for. The Traffic Department gave us approximately 300 IIAA
reflective round plastic markers to use. We furnished the non
reflective yellow ceramic buttons.
The quantities for the bid items went way over.
Item #130 4" CL C TY Y called for quantity 590. We installed quantity
1104.
Item #131 4" CL C TY IA called for quantity 145. We installed quantity
274 (city provided).
I called Apex to replace their buttons. They no longer make them. I
have the 150 ceramic IA that I can give to the city and purchase 50 more
the supplier has in stock. This would total 200. For the remaining
100, we would need to special order them and they have a lead time of
approximately 2 months.
Or, we could give the city 150 IA ceramic and 150 4"x4" square acrylic
IIAA.
Please advise.
Thank you,
William Richmond
