RE: Cozby Library and Community Commons (Lot 1 Blk A Coppell Public Library)
Dear Mr. Markussen,
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
General -
1. Add mayor and council to the cover page.
Dimension Control Plan -
2. Wrong way entry may still be an issue.
3. Show the city of Coppell fiber optics along Heartz and the back of the library.
Sanitary Sewer -
4. Check the slope of the 4" sewer service, I believe the minimum requirement is 2%.
Paving Plan -
5. Where is the sidewalk connection from the trail around the school to the library? Are there stairs at
the end of the sidewalk on the southwest corner? Should there be ADA accessibility?
6. Include stamped concrete at the drive entrance per detail 2150-1.
There may be additional comments throughout the plans that need to be addressed. The City of Coppell
has reviewed the plans for the referenced addition which will be approved with the comments above
addressed.
The City of Coppell requires three sets of final construction plans for its use; your office should submit as
many additional sets for stamping as is necessary for construction operations. All contractors and
subcontractors onsite must have a copy of the plans approved by the City of Coppell along with a copy of
the City's standard construction details. We also require CAD files and a pdf. of the construction set.
If you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
