The following items have been addressed as per the referenced review: Drainage and Storm Plan - 1. Adjust inlet locations & be sure to not exceed street capacity. Revise drainage calculations as necessary. Response: An exhibit has been provided demonstrating how street capacity has not been exceed. Inlets in the drainage areas that were marked up are at low points and therefore have street capacity in each direction. The 8.8 CFS street capacity has not been exceeded in either direction. Plan Sheet Hand Markup Comments - 1. Sheet C-04, Label Windsor Road. Response: Windsor Road has been labeled as requested. 2. Sheet C-05, Remove vertical curve from Wingate Road Profile. Response: Vertical curve has been removed from Wingate Road as requested. 3. Sheet C-08, Label street names on drainage area map. Response: Street names have been labeled as requested. 4. Sheet C-09, Use 7.56 as the intensity for all lines and pipe segments. Response: The increase in time of concentration is a function of the time the flow is in the pipe calculated using the velocity of the flow. We have conservatively only adjusted the intensity at whole number time of concentrations. Hydraulics are extremely tight on these lines and changing that intensity will cause unnecessary increases in pipe sizes. Westhaven Ph. 1 and 2A adjusted the time of concentration in the same manner we have used in this phase. i 5750 Genesis Court, Suite 00 Frisco, TX 75034 K:\FRI_Civil\64447702Wdmin\Correspondence\Letters-Memos\Phase 2\20150506_Response Letter- Westhaven Phase 2B - 2nd Round of Comments.doc Kimley)>)Horn Page 5. Sheet C-09, Negative head loss circled as not allowed. Response: The spreadsheet has been updated to correct the negative number. The spreadsheet has a formula in it that zeroes out a negative response when calculating the HGL's so it was previously calculating the correct HGL while still showing a negative number. We have updated the spreadsheet to read 0 as opposed to the negative value. 6. Sheet C-11, Why isn't LAT S-2 centered at the connection to Line SD -S? Response: Centering the pipe requires LAT S-2 to have a slope less than minimum. Pipe has been adjusted to match the flow line. 7. Sheet C-11, Marked flow lines on Line SD -R as incorrect. Response: Flow lines were double checked and were reading correctly. Pipes are matching crown elevations and therefore the difference in the flow line of those pipes should be the difference of 33"and 21" leaving 12" which matches what is shown on the plans. 8. Sheet C-38 Label Westhaven Ph. 1 insert sheets as "For Reference Only (TYP) Response: Sheets have been labeled as requested.
