I will be taking an item to council on January 24, 2012 to accommodate Section 395.053 LGC. We will need some sort of council action setting a public hearing on Updated Land Use Assumptions
and Capital Improvements Plan for February 28, 2012. I will need to advertise 30 days in advance which will be on January 27, 2012. I will send to paper on Wednesday, January 25, 2012.
This is a short time line and based on P&Z action on 1/19/12 this time line could possibly change.
Could you have a resolution drafted to reflect this public hearing. The exact LCG language is as follows: Sec. 395.053. HEARING ON UPDATED LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
PLAN. The governing body of the political subdivision shall, within 60 days after the date it receives the update of the land use assumptions and the capital improvements plan, adopt
an order setting a public hearing to discuss and review the update and shall determine whether to amend the plan.
