I would like to make a clarification. The planning and zoning commission acts as the Capital Improvements Action Committee (CIAC). During the January 19th P&Z meeting they will end their meeting and open up as the CIAC and make a recommendation and comments based on the Impact Fee Update Report to City Council. This will not follow the typical P&Z - Council schedule. Per chapter 395 of the Local Government Code Council will need to set a public hearing date and advertise 30 days in advance. Our tentative time line for the public hearing is on February 28, 2012 but this could change.
