RE Submittal Status Old Town Coppell
Keith,
In trying to make sure we have all the submittals completed and
accepted on the traffic signal, I see there is still one last item that
is still an issue.
The battery back up (UPS) you note below, we are not finding that this
is required on this project per the plans and specifications. Can you
elaborate a little more on where you find this to be a requirement for
this system?

Kim,
We have completed our review of Submittal numbers 6 and 7 related to
traffic signal components.
We noted the following exceptions on Submittal Number 6:
1. The battery backup system shall be a Clary SP 1250 PD-N six battery
system
2. No information was contained for the video detection system. Will
this be provided in a separate submittal?
3. There is an additional illuminated street name sign required as
part of this project. Please submit the necessary information for that
sign.
We noted the following exceptions on Submittal Number 7:
1. The arm cap and pole cap shall be an "acorn" style to match the
banner poles per the plans.
2. Please provide a color sample for the powder coating for review and
comment.
Let me know if you have any questions. Hard copies are available to be
picked up in our office.
