STREET BLADESI called my other sub ASC to discuss the facts about the project that I
told you about earlier, Bunker Hill. I was wrong about the street blades
being a part of their contract, on this project we are reinstalling the
existing street blades as the signs are merely being moved back. So I
told you wrong about their $404 including new street blades. I asked
about the cost of the street blades being $65/each and the mounting
hardware being $35/each and they confirmed that is their cost as well,
these are correct numbers.
This being said I do not see where the bid price of $150/each is a fair
price as this includes the powder coating of the hardware to mount the
street blades, installation overhead and profit and my mark up. Let me
know what you want to do, we need to order these poles and street
blades.
