Street Lights were ordered June 4,2012, prior to receiving the approved
signed Agreement from the City of Coppell. The City has been aware for
some time now, that the lights have a long lead time, and the expected
delivery date is early September.
The City requested services to irrigation in late June. It was found
that some of the Civil and conduits were not in. The City got this done
recently. The City is aware that ONCOR had to complete the service to
the Townhome lots prior to the installation of service to the
irrigation. Service to all 44 Townhome lots was recently completed.
The service to the irrigation is being put in along with service to
Office Cottages, and Retail. The additional load for the Cottages and
Retail has reduced the cost impact to the City for the installation to
(No Cost). The stub ups for the retail are just now getting installed
and The City is aware of this. This project will be released to
construction for scheduling this week.
If I can be of any further assistance, please let me know.
Thanks,
Rick Fielding

Subject: Old Town Coppell Power needs
Jerry,
Mike Land asked me to send you an email concerning our power needs in
our Old Town area.
The city is waiting on the installation of 114 street lights throughout
the Old Town area. City Council approved the agreement with Oncor for
their installation on June 12, 2012.
The city is also waiting on the installation of transformers and wire
to provide electric service to 710 Main Street and 768 W. Main Street.
The conduit and pull boxes were installed by our civil contractor. Load
sheets were submitted to Karen Eastman on June 27, 2012 for this work.
These services will power irrigation, tree well receptacles, and parking
lot lights that were built with our project.
I have been in contact with Rick fielding concerning this project.
Thanks.
Keith
